Below the very beautiful, historic district of Newfane village, our office is 15 minutes north of Brattleboro in a reproduction cape built with old barn timbers. We are 12 miles north of the confluence of the West and Connecticut Rivers, the Retreat Meadows. You wind northwesterly on Rt. 30 up the West River valley. Along the way is the newly restored covered bridge in Dummerston.
The 10 of us together have over 65 years of experience in the business and work hard to provide the highest quality service to customers and clients. We are dedicated to staying current with an ever changing marketplace, buyers' and sellers' needs, the inventory of properties and businesses and the latest technology.

Computers have revolutionized our industry, something very positive for both buyers and sellers. Sellers have their properties exposed to the world within a day or two of listing. Buyers have quick access to properties with multiple color photos.

Cable broadband access to the state wide, web based Multiple Listing Service enables us to offer Buyers thousands of listings. We've gone digital with our offering sheets, forms, contracts, pictures and disclosures. Our voice mail system forwards to agents' pagers and our Centrex phone system can connect you with an agent on the road or at their home office. All of us have cell phones in our cars, although the towers and mountains make their use a real challenge at times. We enjoy country life but we stay connected to provide almost instant information.

Michael Granger

An active broker, he does most of the marketing and commercial transactions. An agent for 23 years, Michael started Granger Real Estate, with impeccable timing in 1987, right before the bottom fell out. His hobbies include growing bonsai and travelling to 3rd world countries. He came to Vermont in 1975 and claims he would live nowhere else. He has served as Selectman and Lister in Newfane and is a past president of the Southeastern Vermont Board of Realtors and the Historical Society of Windham County.

Allison Deen

Allison has been with the firm for 17 years (hence the deep psychological scars). She lives in Westminster West with her husband, David, who is a state representative in the legislature and a fishing guide. They have 2 grown children. Her main hobby is bird watching. She's involved in town politics as a Justice of the Peace. One of the best in the business, Allison has been practising real estate since 1986. She regularly puts in 60 hours per week and still maintains a charming, sunny disposition.

Lee Anderberg Brown

Lee has been a Realtor for over 13 years and is extremely busy. She lists and sells properties throughout Windham County. She lives in South Londonderry and is particularly knowledgeable about the Stratton Mountain area. A native Vermonter, she graduated from college in 1992 and gravitates naturally to sales. She is also no stranger to long hours, hard work and a great sense of humor.

Holiday Eames

Holiday graduated from Bennington College in 1982 and has remained in Vermont ever since. She keeps horses and loves the countryside and architecture of the area. In addition she has 15 years' small business experience. She plays in the Windham Orchestra and does violin restoration on the side.

Frank Newton

Frank grew up in Los Angeles, but has lived in the Brattleboro area for 20 years. His family has lived in the Brattleboro area for many generations. After coming to visit, he fell in love with the clean air, beautiful surroundings, and friendly people. He is in his fourth year of pursuing his passion for real estate. Prior to that, he was the seminar director for a local corporation. He has a degree in music, is an accomplished video producer and web designer, and plays in a local band.

Janet Williams Lucier

Janet is a native of Brattleboro, Vt., however has lived in the West River Valley for 20 years with her husband and two children. Janet's interest in the Real Estate industry has developed over the years with her involvement in the family plumbing and heating business. Her love for the outdoors and travel has taken her abroard several times as well as three camping treks across the United States. Oona Madden

Oona is a native of England but move to NYC at age of 6. She's been in Vermont for the last 18 years. She's owned 3 restaurants over the years, 2 in Long Island and 1 in Vermont, having been involved in the restaurant business since she was old enough to work. She still cooks privately for a family and loves to cook, especially when it's less intense. She has 4 grown children and lives happily on her small farm in Rockingham, where she enjoys horseback riding.

Meg Anderson

Meg understands houses from the bottom up and inside out. She and her husband Jesse moved their young family to Williamsville over 20 years ago. (They both have large extended families in the area.) They took a small ranch on 10 acres and doubled the living space. Here they raised three daughters who are now happily grown. Meg was involved for years in the local school system including serving three years on the Leland and Gray High School Board. She loves animals, has fostered litters of kittens as well as puppies for the humane society, raised guiding eye dogs and enjoys horseback riding. She has a Paralegal Certificate and is an avid painter. She loves swimming, skating, biking, hiking and trekking around with folks to find their ideal Vermont home.

Roni Byrne

A self-described "Vermonter by choice", Roni has lived in Dummerston with her husband since 1996. A former computer systems developer, she uses her business background and organizational skills to help ensure that the office runs like a well-oiled (but friendly) machine. In addition to her life-long interest in real estate, she's an avid tennis player, adventurous cook, home-improvement enthusiast and serves on the Brattleboro Outing Club's board of directors.
