In the very tourist oriented town, with an historical Green, numerous shops, restaurants, historicial society, antique centers and bus to nearby ski resort, this B&B offers so much of what guests want. Common Rooms
The inn has exceptional Common rooms with a large, slate floored entry for guests, a large kitchen for the owner and/or guests (your call), a spacious dining room and other areas for guest to gather. The main room has very high ceilings, pretty wood floors and a woodstove hearth. This large room can be converted and used for functions like scrapbooking, a popular, off-season use. There is another sitting area in the balcony above the bar. And the other sitting area on the bar level overlooks the back woods and rear deck with the outdoor hot tub. The Common spaces allow someone to read in a quiet spot or gather for company.
Guest Bedrooms
All guest rooms have their own in-room bathrooms. Two of the rooms enjoin for a 2-room suite if desired. One large suite room has a queen sized bed and in a separate area, a pair of bunk beds for families. The rooms are nicely decorated with very pretty linens and bed covers. Some guest rooms have twins which will convert to kings, adding versatility as well.
Owner's Quarters
The floor plan of the inn allows numerous options for size and location of owner's quarters due in part to 3 staircases and multiple floors. Currently it consists of a large kitchen, which the innkeepers leave open for guests. In that space is also a check-in area, office and a dining area themselves. In another part of the inn, they have a large bedroom, 2nd smaller bedroom or office, living room and bathroom. The pictures at the end of this section are of the converted garage which is now used as miscellaneous storage space. Four more guest rooms with baths have been designed for this space but it could also be used as a separate owner's quarters, multiple bay garage space if needed or another home based business.
